Disaster Services
Every year, the Red Cross responds to the needs of thousands of disaster victims. Locally a Disaster Assistance Team (DAT) is trained to respond to the needs of our community if disaster strikes. From tornados and floods to single family fires, your local Red Cross is ready to assist. From the unthinkable to the smallest of situations, we have a plan to help.
The Red Cross works in partnership with people affected by disasters to help them return to living independently as quickly as possible. Services provided include:
- Food, Shelter and Clothing Assistance
- Disaster Assessment
- Individual and Family Assistance
- Disaster Health Services
- Disaster Mental Health Services
- Contacting Family in the Disaster
